Follow – Full speed chase

Follow – To go or come after

The word ‘follow’ comes from the Old English word ‘folgian’ which meant ‘to pursue’. It can be traced back to the Proto-Germanic word ‘fulg’ which was a contraction of ‘ful-gan’ meaning ‘full-going’ referring to a chase where the follower is going at full speed.
